Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Septic Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of septic systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and delivering exceptional service to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Inspection and Diagnosis: Evaluate septic systems to identify issues and assess functionality.
  • Maintenance Services: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including pumping and cleaning septic tanks, inspecting drain fields, and replacing filters.
  • Repair Work: Carry out repairs on septic systems, including replacing damaged components and making necessary adjustments.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, explaining services performed and advising on proper system maintenance.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work is in compliance with local and state regulations and environmental guidelines.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain service vehicles and heavy earth-moving equipment used in septic system maintenance and repair.
  • Emergency Services: Respond to emergency calls for septic system failures or backups, providing timely and effective solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in septic service or related field preferred.
  • Must have a valid commercial driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and a clean MVR.
  • Must hold a CDL with the ability and willingness to obtain a tanker endorsement if requested.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to meet a DOT physical demands evaluation.
  • At least one year of professional commercial driving experience (post-school).
  • Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing systems.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery and specialized equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
