Issues with septic tanks sometimes occur due to backups, blockages or leaks in your pipes, a lot of accumulated sludge, and similar issues, so if you notice any signs of a malfunction, make sure to call us immediately!
Septic tank cleaning is the process of removing accumulated solid waste and sludge from a septic tank to ensure that it functions properly.
Over time, solid waste and sludge can build up in the septic tank, reducing its capacity to effectively treat wastewater. This can lead to a variety of problems, including clogged drain pipes, sewage backups, and foul odors. To prevent these issues, it is recommended that septic tanks be pumped and cleaned every 3-5 years, depending on the size of the tank and the volume of wastewater it handles.
It is important to note, however, that septic tank cleaning is not a one-time solution. Septic tanks require ongoing maintenance, including regular cleaning, to ensure that they continue to function properly.
Protect your property and family with routine septic tank pumping and service from our licensed and insured team.
Our septic inspection procedure will determine if working components of your septic tank system are functioning correctly. The technician will also notify you of any concerns they have with your septic system. Our septic inspectors will put every component of your septic system to the test.
A septic tank inspection can give the buyer some peace of mind knowing that they are not inheriting any septic problems. Give us a call to get a certified septic inspection and fulfill your buyer-seller responsibilities.
Like many mechanical systems, a septic system is susceptible to wear and tear. Septic Systems that are not maintained well will require more frequent repairs, but, even so, a septic tank repair is much less expensive than replacements.
A septic tank repair is easier and more affordable than ever thanks to the professionals at Right Time Septic.
If you’re struggling to deal with your malfunctioning septic tank, our highly trained professionals can help. One busted or damaged pipe is all it takes to completely ruin your day. When your septic tank and system stops working properly, we are your reliable local source of septic repair services for any need. We efficiently get to the root of the problem and use the latest repair methods to solve you septic problems.
Another fundamental septic maintenance is evaluating the status of your septic system. If your system doesn’t have a riser (access port), the process can be labor-intensive and time-consuming.
A septic riser is the cap that lets you inspect the tank without digging out a large hole. If your system doesn’t have a riser, we can install it for you to make your work easier. As a result, you can provide appropriate maintenance and detect problems early before they become serious.
All water runs out of your house from one main drainage pipe into a septic tank.
The septic tank is a buried, water-tight container usually made of concrete, fiberglass, or polyethylene. Its job is to hold the wastewater long enough to allow solids to settle down to the bottom forming sludge, while the oil and grease floats to the top as scum. Compartments and a T-shaped outlet prevent the sludge and scum from leaving the tank and traveling into the drainfield area.
The liquid wastewater (effluent) then exits the tank into the drainfield.
The drainfield is a shallow, covered, excavation made in unsaturated soil. Pretreated wastewater is discharged through piping onto porous surfaces that allow wastewater to filter through the soil. The soil accepts, treats, and disperses wastewater as it percolates through the soil, ultimately discharging to groundwater. If the drainfield is overloaded with too much liquid, it can flood, causing sewage to flow to the ground surface or create backups in toilets and sinks.
Finally, the wastewater percolates into the soil, naturally removing harmful coliform bacteria, viruses and nutrients. Coliform bacteria predominantly inhabits the intestines of humans or other warm-blooded animals. It is an indicator of human fecal contamination.
